TS-op-HEADER-Rmark-edit-3Series TS voltage stabilisers employ a motor-driven variable transformer feeding the primary winding of a buck/boost transformer, the secondary of which is connected in series between the supply and the load, so as to inject an aiding or opposing correction voltage into the supply line.

The output voltage is monitored by our in house developed digital electronic sensor providing accurate and controlled voltage regulation.

When the stabilised output voltage deviates from the set value, due to a supply voltage or load current change, the sensor drives the motor to rotate the variable transformer brushgear until the correct voltage is restored. This method of stabilisation inherently produces no harmonics, and therefore does not add distortion to the incoming supply.

The action of the servo system is exceptionally fast with controlled deceleration resulting in zero or minimal overshoot: sensing from the output automatically compensates for any change in load current.

The input voltage range (swing) is shown as percentage relative to output setting. Each standard model provides three alternative correction ranges (Taps A, B or C). The required tap setting should be specified when ordering, if not specified, tap B is provided as standard. We will be pleased to advise.
